Cobacoli: ball-physic game
There are several classical genres around experimental games and one of the biggest and well played games are based around physics, like this little game.
Game mechanics:
You control white circle by mouse and your objective is to move colored circles to the same colored walls. Limited amount of shots and penalization for touching to any colorized walls makes few levels pretty hard, but nothing is random and all is in your hand.
I am not sure how much levels are included in the game: I go through 11 or 12 different levels. When you fail to accomplish the level you must start from the begining, but the levels are shuffled randomly then it is not so big distraction.
Game use simple retro like graphics made by geometric shapes and few colors. There are also some decent particle effects and that’s all.
Pros:
- game runs smooth
- easy to learn and fun for first few minutes
Cons:
- you have just one live and when you fail one level you must start from beginning
- interface in the middle of game level is not great choice
Conclusion:
Cobacoli is not one of the you-must-play game, but if you have a couple of minutes, then try it, it is fun. You can play it at JayIsGames and I also recommend you to try Boomshine game.
