I don’t think there are many flash games that you can call art. But music catch is different. For me, it’s a big piece of art. Why?

As you know from the game’s name, for sure, this is another music game. And you sure know, that I love music games:o) So, what can be so great about a music game? What can make it special and even art? Of course, it’s music. Concept of this game is pretty simple, actually. You can define it only with two worlds - the game’s name - Music catch.

Your objective is to catch different shaped objects that are blue, yellow or purple and avoid red ones. If music is intensive, there are many objects, if it’s slow and peaceful, there is only a few. And that’s pretty much everything.

Even if this game is using only a few colors, it looks amazing. Especially for those, that love minimalistic graphics. But as I said before, the best thing, about this game is it’s piano music. Sounds amazing.

And the only problem about this game I found out? It’s a big one, actually. There’s only one song. That means, that the gameplay is quite short and if you want to play again, the game’ll be absolutelly the same. Fortunatelly the song is so good, that you don’t need to care about it:o)

A lot of people wants to be a surgeons, much more people like to watch to TV shows and films about doctors, but we do not have a lot of games around this theme. I was very happy to find this little game. It is not perfect, but it is still fun for most moments.

The story behind this game is quite simply: you are the guys who continuously finds people who needs surgery, because they swallow magnet which draw up the nails which stab them 20cm inside the body or they are hit by hedgehog (I am not kidding, this is serious). You have some great tools: pizza cutter, tongs, stapler, lighter and chainsaw (yeah, this tool is great for slicing throught bones). There are 23 missions: patients that need help and it is really great fun.

You burn the wounds to avoid bleeding, slicing bones by chainsaw (then fire the bones up to the correct place, lighter is very handy tool) and taking of hedgehogs spines. There are couple of tricks and procedures you need to know, but later it just start to be very repetitive, but this is quite usual for flash games.

There are one particular thing I really hate on this game: there is no tutorial in this game and some procedures are quite tricky: like you need to select corkscrew and then select pain relief tool then follow the red square which rotate around the circle to have injection which boost the patient. You need to learn this without any hint and if you don’t you cannot finish 5 level. Common, this is crap.

OK, you have some in-game help, but you need to go through them and if you have some tool selected, you injure the patient each time you clicks on the book. I have sound off, then I do not seems that and I killed the patient twice to figure out how to get the injections.

If you do not mind this issue with the help you will like this game and trust me: it is fun, but it is very addictive. You can play this game here.

Eyemaze is one of the best flash game creator of today. He is most famous of his Grow series. We wrote about these game few times ago. He release another new game couple weeks ago and I want to refer about it.

New sequel brings another view to this game genre. Instead of 6, 8 or ten items you have each round just two choices and after each choice is character transformed to anything else: your creature grow. I do not know how many possibilities you have in this sequel but it seems very easy compared to previous versions.

I win the game on first try and Gee too, but the game is very funny and I enjoy variety of transformation of the creature. You can play this game on author website.

Do you all of those stunts who jumps over the x number of cars/boats/buses on the motorbike, bike (add any other vehicle you know), than this game is quite same as those crazy stunts. You control some crazy bear and you jump over the cars and busses using your umbrella.

There must be strong wind in the game and the bear must not weight anything, because if you open your umbrella the wind blow your bear up. Then you just trying to fly as long as possible by opening and closing your tool. Try it by yourselves it is quite intuitive, just be aware to the ducks and if you do not have enough power just land to the car or bus.

It is such a small game controlled by just a one button. I like this game and play it for about 20 minutes. It is good game for small amount of time, but this is quite common in flash game genre. I do not like just one thing in this game: you cannot mute the music. Yeah, the music is great, but just for first five or ten minutes.

If you have some time, than just try this game. You will like it.

It looks like Audiosurf started a small game revolution. Before a few years I knew just about DDR and Guitar Hero, now you can find even tens of flash musical games. And one of them is Music in motion. Not a very original name:o)

A few years ago I was a big fan of trance music and Dejv argued all the time how the hell can I listen something like that. Even if my musical taste is a lot different now, for a while I don’t have problem with this kind of music. If I had, I think I would hate this game:o) So if you have problems with electronic music, this absolutely isn’t game for you.

What it’s all about? Menu is very original. Even in it you control your character. If you go right with it (use your cursor keys, you start a game and music starts to play. Small boxes start falling from above and the screen starts to slide right. You must jump and go fast enough in order not to get out of the screen. In other levels you must take a look at boxes in order not to get covered with it. And you can find many other ideas.

Actually everything is scripted, so it’s nothing like Audiosurf where levels are generated from your music. But it doesn’t matter. It’s fun for a while…at least until you get bored from almost same music again and again:o)

And because I don’t think that the small article about Diablo III is enought for today, here’s a small flash game for you, that are nor interested in bigger games. It’s called Nanotube and you’ll need to use just two keys on your keyboard to play it.

Principle is absolutelly easy but catchy. You must control a wheel with colored parts. Rotate it using your cursor left and right and catch same-collored balls.

First level is quite easy - there’s only one color but you’ll see that everything gets a lot harder in other levels. Great thing is, that if you fail you don’t need to start from the first level. Of course if you want to get bigger score, it’s better to start from beginning.

In the end the games shows you your performance rating. Are you better than a floppy disk?:oD

Poor mouse cursor. Somebody’s always trying to destroy it or even eat it. There are so many videos about it, but I think I’ve never seen a game like this although I’m sure, there must be many of them. So here’s one.

It’s very easy, actually, so I don’t think there’s much to say. It comes from Japan, so I don’t think you’ll be surprised that this game is not in English. But don’t worry. System is very easy. You just need to run before sumo-spider-whatever creature that tries to catch your cursor. In the further phases he’ll even use some weapons, because otherwise it would be too easy. And your task is just to save yourself as long as you can.
