About two years ago, we write little bit about first sequel of this game, so I was curious to try this second version. Concept is still the same. You have couple of planets and one ball and you will sling the ball out. In first version you have just one objective: to hit the hole on another planet. In this second version is this little bit complicated.
There are couple of different goals, from hitting the hole like previous version to collect right amount of some points floating in the space or visiting number of different gates. There are also a lot of stuffs like teleports, planets that burn your ball or 90 different and first unknown awards (outside of some Kongregate badges). This game must look kind a complicated, but believe me it is not and it is fun to play. So enjoy it.
It’s good, if a sequel is better, than an original game. And Music Catch is a perfect case of such a game. I really loved the original game and even if there was only one song, I enjoyed it many times. In the second part you can find three piano songs (and every on of them sounds brilliant, melancholic, you just must love it), plus you can use any MP3 file on the net.
More songs are not the only improvement. There are also new modes (different movement of shapes) and many new shapes of “points”. Principle is always the same, catching blue and green shapes. If you catch a yellow one, a ball that represents you gets bigger so you can catch other shapes better. And pink shapes? They give you power;o) But be aware of red ones.
Avoider type of games are quite popular theme for flash games developers. It is very easy to create them and most novice in this craft will try to create them. Most games in this genre is not very unique and just repeat this single gameplay again and again. This is game is quite different and try some new things
Your objective is avoid falling objects. Nothing special not happen first few seconds, but after first few blocks fall something happen: the screen will move to another corner of the screen, than after few seconds will change place again than resize size, rotate the screen and so on.
Nothing more to say here, just some simple game for few minutes of your time. Better to try it yourself than read long review
I found something that is not a game in standard meaning, but it is fun and you can play with. This game fall into test yourself category and let you test if your guess about geometric sense is right.
There are couple type of examples: you will point center of circle, find right angle and so on. After each guess you’ve got the feedback and distance from ideal solution.
And after few tries you’ve got your overall score and look up to the high score table with score distribution of all players.

In this game you control small gray colored robot. You control this bot by giving him instructions in simple symbolic programming language.
Do not worry if you do not know how to program. Programming language in this game is just inserting graphical icons with actions to small grid and then hit the run button. After you hit this button, bot will execute your instructions.
Game start with 5 tutorial levels, which help to understand of this game for most gamers. After these levels learning curve will slightly increase. You will need to use function (or procedures if you like Pascal notation) and in last level you will need to use recursion. But do not worry, it is quite straightforward game for all puzzle lovers.
It was a long month with no post, I know, but here we are again. And with a really good game. Even if I was sceptical first, this game somehow managed to catch me, so I’m really thinking about spending 20$ and buying it. It’s nothing more than a new game from the creators of well known Uplink, Darwinia or Defcon. A game called Multiwinia.
First surprise
You’ll find out first surprise when you decide to download this game. You only need to download 50MB of data! In this time, when even many casual games can take hundreds of megabytes this feels like some kind of miracle. Even if you have a really slow connection, it’s no problem to download this game in a few minutes.
Second surprise
But the second surprise is even better. This game is actually pretty good! You don’t need much time to understand what to do (which was my problem in Defcon). You just sit and play. At first I was kinda disappointed because you need to use your keyboard and your mouse, too, but after a few minutes there was no problem with it. Of course I must to say, that I”m no casual player. It’s possible, that many player, that are used to control games only with their mouse are going to have problems. But it would be really pity and I’m sure that they’ll be able to get through it.
And of course I could go on, but I must left some more surprises for you. For now, you just need to know, that Multiwinia is a great and easy to understand strategy game, where you’ll need to think pretty fast. And even if you don’t have much experience with other strategy games, don’t be afraid of this one. It’s so unique that it’s no problem in here.
